connect the CD-player from its digital output to the receiver/decoder
digital input (a home theatre receiver or similar one that
can decode DTS
®).
warning, don`t try to connect your equipment via the analogue
outputs/inputs, as this will cause a pinknoise type of sound
which is not very enjoyble to listen to. It might even damage
your loudspeakers.
In order to get the best performance out of your home theatre
system, we recommend that you have five identical loudspeakers
and a subwoofer. if you don`t have a centerspeaker make
sure that your receiver or decoder is set in the mode "no
center". this mode will generate a so called "phantom
center " (please see the manufacturers manual for further
details). if you don`t have a subwoofer make sure that your
receiver or decoder is set in the mode "no subwoofer".
in this mode the LFE-channel will be sent to your left front
and right front speakers (please see the manufacturers manual
for further details).
please note that some older CD-player don`t play CD-R records.
